This range, with its large working distance with infinite plan: 5X/0.10,24-23mm, 10X/0.25-18.48mm, 20X/0.40 (S)-8.35mm, 50X/0.7-1.95mm objective. Adjustable 12V/50W reflected and transmitted halogen lamp to ensure the optimum illumination of the materials to be tested. The illuminating system consists of a high-intensity light source, Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser lenses with Iris Diaphragm.

The binocular viewing head with wild field WF10X22 mm, WF10X22 mm eyepieces fitted with 48-76 mm interpupilary distance as standard. Blue with optional Green, Yellow and Ground filters are often used to recover detail and polarizing filters, to produce surface glare and to recover grain boundary definition.
